Mehdi (Matt) Yari
PhD. Computer Science. Co-Founder · AI Researcher & System Architect
I’m an AI researcher, system architect, and product builder with over 15 years of experience designing and deploying machine-learning systems in real-world production environments.
My background spans large language models, natural language processing, and full-stack engineering, with a strong focus on turning complex ideas into usable, scalable products. Over the years, I’ve worked across industries such as healthcare, finance, consumer technology, and enterprise analytics — building systems that go from early prototypes to production-grade platforms used by real teams.
I currently work as a Tech Lead and AI System Designer, where I design enterprise-grade agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent systems, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions. My work includes agent orchestration, observability, evaluation, and grounding LLMs in enterprise data to ensure reliability and trust. Beyond client and enterprise work, I actively build and ship SaaS products. Some of the platforms I’ve developed include:

Earlier in my career, I served as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science, where my research focused on NLP, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and intelligent systems. I hold a PhD in Computer Science and have published research in peer-reviewed international conferences. I’m especially interested in applying AI to “boring but important” domains — healthcare, finance, education, and enterprise software — where thoughtful system design and reliability matter more than hype. At heart, I enjoy building things that are clear, useful, and durable, and working on problems where technology can quietly make people’s work easier.

I am a multifaceted professional blending a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) background with technical expertise in Full Stack Web Development and UI/UX design. My career is defined by a unique intersection of rigorous scientific research and digital innovation, allowing me to bridge the gap between complex analytical thinking and user-centric product creation.
With over a decade of experience across pharmaceutical sciences and technology, I specialize in building digital experiences that are as functional as they are intuitive. From conducting advanced medical research at the University of Georgia to developing responsive platforms for biomedical firms and startups, I focus on bringing clarity and precision to every project.
I am passionate about leveraging my background in healthcare and high-level administrative coordination to build scalable, secure, and impactful solutions. My work focuses on:
